Abiola Matesun (Abi) is a Director and cinematographer based in Dallas, Texas, USA. His innate talent for story telling and creative sensibilities has earned him international recognition in wedding cinematography, documentary and short films.

He believes that stories are life and encompass various aspects from memories to beliefs to values and heritage.

As a Creative Director at MALEKFOTFILMS and MALEKFOTOWEDDINGS ; a production company that delivers premium digital content both in commercial and creative expressions, Abi ensures that each film production is emotional, inspirational ,effective and enthralling.

He is a four time award winning film maker . Abi won two TELLY AWARDS in 2018 for his production of Fire and Ice a captivating love story filmed in Iceland.... He then went on to win two Emmy awards in the same year for a short documentary titled “ INNER CONFLICT“.

In 2018, He led a team in writing, filming, and directing an international campaign for Canon, Inc. which went on to be featured all over World, but with a focus on Africa.

Abi's talent and creative ability in the film industry speaks for him globally, receiving recognitions from national and international press.
